Short update from the Wayland efforts:
This is quite a success as it took me several days to work out how to activate the window and get keyboard events to it. Now with that done I can start looking at the real window managment bits.

What are we seeing here – please don’t tell us that you had to reinvent the wheel and spend ages on getting something like a terminal emulator working, a problem which has been solved a bazillion times in the last decades.
