@Patcito:

Mouse interaction is working quite fine. The Compiz shortcut ctrl+alt+left mouse button is not working (this is not available as a global shortcut) and this shortcut is really bad for handicaped people. But you can define a window corner to trigger cube and then rotate the cube manually. You can even close the cube by pressing the right mouse button or set an option so that cube is closed when you release the left mouse button.

It would be good to be able to zoom on the desktop by pressing a key and scrolling back and forth with the mouse to zoom in and zoom out like in Compiz. Right now I have to use the keyboard only which is not optimal.

Nice to see you on here and keep up the good work!
By the way, does your cms allow feeding all the blog content to the planet? It's always nicer to be able to read the whole post there :-)

It seems to me that your GPU does not support Shaders. That explains why neither blur, nor Cylinder/Sphere are working. Actually Cylinder/Sphere should not be loaded when shaders are not supported. But some time ago they loaded nevertheless. The effects are based on cube. That's why you see the cube.

First of all, congratulations and thank you for your great work.

In case you're also dealing with appearing and disappearing windows effects, there is one that I really like with Compiz. When you close a window, instead of disappearing slowly, it goes horizontal, the bottom of the window seeming to move towards the inside of the screen, and then it disappears. This is the default effect in Kubuntu when you enable the desktop effects.

A configuration option for the Blur effect would be great too, as on my machine (laptop Centrino + ATI Mobility X600 SE), nothings seems to get blurry at all.

And by the way, on the same machine, last time I tried the cylinder and sphere modules, they showed like a cube, no matter what plugin I used. Need to check now.
